Yael has been a popular Australian actor who is best known for her role as the actress who played Lorna Morello, Lorna and Peretta from Orange Is the New Black. She also played Dora Lumley at Picnic at Hanging Rock. She has appeared in various other television movies and shows like Spirited High Maintenance Deep Water Penn Zero: Part-Time Hero The Wilde Wedding and many other. Also, she is known for being a vocal campaigner for women's rights and for her support of abortion rights and climate protection. She attended Balmain Public School. She then was able to graduate from Newtown High School of the Performing Arts as well as the National Institute of Dramatic Art (both in New South Wales, Australia).
